Project description:

OpenCms OpenSocial Project aims to provide a set of components and skinable, easy to customize templates which extends OpenCms for offering social computing and networking support for public and business sectors. This project has been initiated in the hope that OpenCms community users and developers could work collaboratively on this project which is currently in the specification phase.

OpenCms Air modules and features:

OpenCms Space:

Allows users to create their own private or shared space folders for document upload, task creation, etc.

OpenCms Friends:

find friends and invite them, join or organize a community with common interests, share bookmarks and feeds with community members.

OpenCms People:

find organizational and contact information about your colleagues and get access to the information your colleagues are collecting and publishing on wikis, forums and their blogs.

OpenCms Social Bookmarks:

create and share bookmarks with others in your community

OpenCms eConferncing:

ScreenSharing and Instant Messaging support for members who are Online.

OpenCms Projects:

create projects, shared task creation and management, track to-do's and empower your team to self-organize events through shared calendar

upload documents to your space and co-create documents with other members for collaborative writing

provides ability to add comment to each document and mark a comment as a question, answers can be rated
